A structured process is what separates a smooth launch from a last-minute crisis.

A multilingual rollout looks simple from the outside – content goes in, translated files come out. But behind the scenes, a well-managed launch involves a series of carefully structured steps that all need to happen in the right order. It starts with terminology alignment, making sure that key terms, product names and brand language are consistent across all target languages before a single word is translated. Then comes style guide adaptation, ensuring that tone of voice guidelines are applied correctly for each market. Files need to be prepared and formatted correctly before they reach the linguists. Once translations are complete, a full linguistic quality assurance review is carried out. Layout is checked to make sure nothing has broken across languages – and as I have written about before, text expansion alone can cause significant layout issues. Finally, a last round of checks before delivery.
When this process is structured and managed properly, a five-language launch feels smooth. Deadlines are met, files are consistent, and the client team can focus on the launch itself rather than chasing updates.
When it is not structured, problems appear at the last minute, and last-minute problems in multilingual projects are expensive and stressful to fix.
At FB Language Solutions, creating smooth, transparent processes is a priority for every project. You and your team should always have peace of mind, from brief to delivery.
